Dia Materials Co., Ltd. is engaged in the manufacture and sale of synthetic polycrystalline diamonds, using the explosion technology cultivated through many years of mining operations, which originated from Sumitomo Coal Mining Co.
As part of our expansion into new businesses, we began research and development in 1987.
Commercial production and sales of diamonds began in 1991.

We have an integrated production system from synthesis to classification of diamonds in Japan, and we are proud to be one of the world's leading producers and sellers of polycrystalline diamonds synthesised by the impact compression method.
